Can I buy in Aussie dollars?

Yes. Our other site, mooses.com.au, sells in Australian dollars and it carries many of the same products.

If you want to order a product from barconnections.com that is not on mooses.com.au, you can send us an email, or you can advise us in the comments section of the mooses.com.au "Check out" form. We will email you with the details of your order amount in AU$.

We can use the reverse process if you find an item on the Moose's site that you want to pay in US$.

Where can I get VB *The Beer*?

No doubt this is the most frequent query that we receive. VB or Victoria Bitter, is the most popular beer in Australia, with roughly 25% of the market share.

Unfortunately, VB cannot be distributed in the US because of labelling and bottling laws.

VB, produced in Australia, can be purchased in Alberta, Canada at Liquor World. To the best of our knowledge, this is the only state/province in North America, where the liquor laws will allow the sale of VB produced in Australia.

There a number of outlets in the UK and The Netherlands, where VB can be purchased.

Do you have a catalogue?

Our product lines are ever changing and therefore our site is our catalogue.

How long does it take for my order to reach the US, Europe, or Canada?

As long as we have the stock, we normally post your order within 24 hours. Whenever possible, we use airmail post. As a result, most orders reach the US and Europe within a week. If the delivery address is a major centre, some parcels have reached their destinations in 4 days. Canada frequently takes 2 weeks for delivery.

What happens if my package goes astray?

We seldom lose a package in the post, but it can occur.

Australia Post will compensate you once the search process is completed.

Sometimes it may be customs who hold up the order. Other times, the package could inadvertently be sent by sea freight which can take two to three months. For these reasons, Australia Post wants this length of time to elapse before taking action on international shipments.

Do you accept returns?

Will I be getting emails from you in the future?

We send out a newsletter periodically. We attempt to do this once a month. The format and content is as follows: announce new product lines; developments with a particular logo; general information on the shop or something that is happening or queried; anything that might be of interest.

If you do not wish to receive this newsletter, a simple reply to that effect will suffice to be removed from the list.
